Handmade Leather Watch Strap

Ok, everyone at some point in time brought a cheaper watch that had the lowest quality "leather" strap on it. You know, then ones that don't every really fit quite right. Well, I am no different. I have a few nice watches that I where on special occasions. But I don't like to wear them all the time incase I damage one. So, I brought a cheap watch with a terrible piece of ^@*£ strap. After a few days of trying to deal with the strap I gave up and put it in a drawer.

Well, after a few days of not having a watch I decided to do something about it. I took three piece of leather and created a watch strap. It was my first attempt but it end up looking really nice (at least I think so).

HTC Thunderbolt Leather Case (Custom Request)

Hi,

This has is my most recent creation. I was asked to create a HTC Thunderbolt leather case that had a belt loop. So, I did my best. I used real dark brown leather and lined it with a greyish brown felt. I stitched it with red thread to give a little contrasting detail. In my own opinion, I think it turn out pretty nice.

Leather card wallet

Here is a leather card wallet that I recently sold on Etsy.com. 

The wallet holds approximately 6-8 credit cards, plus 1-2 on the back ( and possibly more business cards).
 As for the construction of the wallet, I have use a method of stitching called saddle stitching. The method produces a stronger more long lasting stitch. An example I could give would be if you where to pull the wallet with great force, the leather would rip before the stitching came apart.

Hello everyone,

This the first post of my new blog and I thought I should take a moment to say hello and tell you why I have created this blog. I have recently begun creating leather products and sell then on a fantastic website called Etsy.com. I can't say enough about the site and if you have not checked it out then you are ready willing out. There is, however, one drawback to the site and I am not suggested that site be changed in any way. The site is designed for selling products and that is what it does. However, when the product is sold you can no longer view it. That is the drawback. I have made a number of different items and would like the other to see them even though they have been sold.

So, that is what the blog is going to be about. I am intending to post pictures of the products I create and maybe a few of the products that have inspired me. If you would like to view any of the products I have for sale, please check out my shop on Etsy.com. The link is below.
